Health & Well-being Projects For Mind, Body & Soul

Healthy Living Healthy Lives have been working hard during the COVID19 Pandemic to ensure that our services are able to continue safely

Chat-Connect-Create has continued to meet, albeit remotely. Participants, led by Sally have used a variety of means of communication to ensure that none have been alone or lonely.

It has been a productive time and they have spent valuable time responding to need by making various items required by the local hospitals including mask ear savers, hearts, prem baby hats and much more.  As well as this they have shared quizzes, information and support via phone, email, WhatsApp and zoom.  Latterly, as restrictions have lifted, socially distanced garden gatherings have been arranged, weather dependant.

We welcome anyone who wants to be involved, particularly if you have found the last few months lonesome and have had difficulty connecting with others.  Please text/call 07394 928150 (please don't leave a message – we will return your call/text as soon as we are able) or email

We continue to observe Government guidelines to ensure the safety of our participants and team during this time

Homeless Healthcare has been completely reconfigured!  Historically we have worked exclusively within The Welcome Centre, a day facility in Ilford, as this has been the first port of call for the majority of people experiencing homelessness in LB Redbridge.

From the beginning of lockdown, the majority of clients have been housed in temporary accommodation, ranging from supported services to hotels and B&Bs.  The day centre was closed for safety reasons.

We have therefore adjusted our service and become mobile!  The nurses are offering weekly clinics in Malachi Place, Ryedale Court, The Goodmayes Project and Jason Lee House and will return to The Welcome Centre when it fully re-opens, the latter giving priority to those who are in Hotels, B&B or rough sleeping.  Our aim is to ensure that every adult who is homeless in LBRedbridge has access to the Homeless Health Service

The first point of contact is one of our nurses for a comprehensive health check and GP registration.  Clients are then referred to other services as needed.  Our counsellors have continued to work via zoom or other remote platforms and this will continue.  Our chiropody service will return in August.  We work closely with the Outreach GP (PELC) and Rough Sleepers Mental Health Team (NELFT).  For the time being other services such as massage therapy, boxercise and table tennis remain suspended

Our priority is to ensure the safety of clients and staff and therefore appropriate PPE/equipment is used during the course of contact with any of our clients.

Enquiries should be directed to Stephanie O'Leary, Homeless Health Service Manager at or text/call 07394 928150 (please don't leave a message – we will return your call/text as soon as we are able)

Room hire – under normal circumstances, our meeting room would seat up to 20 people conference style (numbers would have to be adjusted to ensure safe social distancing).  It can be arranged according to your needs and has use of projector and unlimited tea and coffee (bring your own milk and other refreshments) included.  We hire on a sessional basis, 9-12 and 1-4 or 2-5).  Please call 07394 928150 or email Graham or Stephanie

Social Enterprise – Laser Crafts: we make bespoke gifts using laser technology.  Personalised item carry a premium cost to be determined based on the work to be carried out.  Enquiries should be directed to Graham or text 07394 928150 or find us on Facebook
